Certification engineer

Assignment description

We are looking for a Certification Engineer – China to support certification activities and ensure product compliance for the Chinese market.

In this role, you will work closely with the certification team in China and the local distributor to support the registration and type approval of customer vehicles. You will collaborate across a broad international network, working with certification engineers, designers, test engineers and other relevant stakeholders.

The assignment includes supporting regulatory analysis, collecting and coordinating technical documentation, and contributing to the planning of certification inspections and tests. You will also provide the Chinese market with the product information and technical details required for national type approvals.

In addition, you will support and troubleshoot systems used in certification activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of certification processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• You have relevant experience within certification, regulatory compliance, type approval, engineering or a related technical field.
• You are comfortable working with technical product information, data and drawings.
• You have experience working with regulatory requirements and supporting compliance-related activities.
• You have a strong ability to coordinate activities and information across different stakeholders and functions.
• You are comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.
• You are able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• You are structured and flexible, with the ability to prioritize between different activities.
• You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
