Senior testledare

Assignment description

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to support a large-scale IT program and take overall responsibility for testing activities throughout the full project lifecycle.

In this role, you will define and drive the overall test strategy and test plan, working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, agile team leads and other internal and external parties. You will define scope, objectives, deliverables, test data and environment needs and ensure that the teams have the right prerequisites for successful testing.

You will oversee test execution, follow up on progress, defects and key quality metrics, and ensure that testing activities are completed according to plan. The role also includes identifying testing-related risks, defining mitigation actions and communicating status, issues and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

A key part of the assignment is to create alignment between QA, business and delivery teams, ensuring that testing supports both technical requirements and business objectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results and defect reports.

Requirements

• You have proven experience working as a Test Lead in large and complex programs.
• You have hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• You have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
• You have experience leading and coordinating teams and testing activities.
• You are experienced in Agile and DevOps environments.
• You have a good understanding of CI/CD and test automation frameworks.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a clear focus on quality and attention to detail.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Meritorious

• Experience with AWS services is considered an advantage.
• A plus is experience with test case management tools.
• Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools is meritorious.
• Experience from complex, large-scale technology environments is an advantage.
• ISTQB Certified Test Manager or equivalent certification is meritorious.
