Senior Backend Developer

Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to work with high-volume, distributed backend services in a cloud-native environment. The role focuses on scalable microservices, event-driven architecture, reliable message processing, performance optimization and integrations with external platforms.

Qualifications

• You have strong experience with Kotlin, Java and Spring.
• You have experience designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices.
• You have hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis and event-driven architectures.
• You have experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• You have good knowledge of concurrency, performance optimization and resilient cloud solutions.
• You have experience with monitoring and observability, for example Grafana.

Meriting

Experience outside the core backend area, for example mobile development, data platforms or marketing technology, is considered an advantage. An interest in AI-assisted development and in broadening your technical skills across the stack is also meritorious.
