Assignment Description

We are looking for a UX Designer who can work on site three days per week. The assignment concerns a planning tool serving users with different needs, including store personnel and specialists planning expansions. You will develop intuitive experiences that can scale, addressing current MVP requirements while maintaining a consistent direction for the user experience over time.

Working alongside engineering and platform teams, you will contribute to connections between the tool, Revit, retail equipment and shared planning data. Established design systems and patterns that can be reused will help create a cohesive foundation and support future growth. You will also make planning tasks easier to learn and perform efficiently, incorporating business rules, physical space limitations, product information and 3D models into guided interactions.

Research will help you understand how different users navigate the tool and where they encounter difficulties. You will organise and carry out user research, examine complete user journeys and turn the findings into clear priorities for design. Flows and prototypes will be evaluated with users in several markets, with ongoing improvements informed by their feedback and supporting evidence.

You approach the working realities of store personnel, planning teams and expansion specialists with curiosity and empathy. You express ideas clearly and confidently, champion users’ needs and help stakeholders from business, product, engineering and design reach a shared understanding.

You are assured in your design skills and keen to develop further by working and learning with others. You welcome feedback, refine your work iteratively and draw on both qualitative findings and quantitative data to make practical design choices within an ambitious delivery schedule. You take an open, forward-looking approach to the opportunities offered by AI in design and software development.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience designing complex digital products as a UX Designer.
  • A strong professional background in complex products for enterprise use, retail or space planning.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Framer and Miro, alongside skills in information architecture, wireframing, prototyping and design systems.
  • A strong command of user-centred design, with the ability to work confidently from discovery and mapping user journeys through to interaction design, prototyping and usability testing.

It is considered meritorious if you have experience with workflows involving extensive data, spatial information or 3D functionality.
