Data analyst / data scientist

Assignment description

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist to work with complex business challenges related to pricing, warranty assessment and cost analysis.

The role combines Python development with mathematical, statistical and machine learning methods. You will work with both structured and unstructured data, including text and images, and collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and business stakeholders.

Your work will include data exploration and analysis, development and evaluation of machine learning and statistical models, Python-based pipelines for training and inference, and deployment of containerized solutions. You will also work with Snowflake, contribute to CI/CD and documentation, and support continuous improvement of data science solutions together with the business.

Qualifications

• You have a degree or equivalent background in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or another quantitative field.
• You have strong Python programming and software development skills.
• You have experience developing and applying machine learning or statistical models.
• You have practical experience with Git and collaborative software development.
• You communicate well in English.

Meritorious

• You have experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• You have experience with RAG and MCP, or a good understanding of how they can be applied.
• You have experience with Bash.
• You have experience with CI/CD, containerization and deployment workflows.
• You have experience with AWS, Snowflake or Snowpark.
• You have experience with technical documentation using tools such as MkDocs or GitLab Pages.
• You communicate in Swedish.

You are analytical, curious and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. You communicate technical findings clearly to different stakeholders and work well across both technical and business functions. You are comfortable selecting tools and approaches based on the needs of the problem.
