Assignment description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to join a robotics project focused on the development, integration and testing of advanced robotic systems.

In this role, you will work across embedded software, computer vision, autonomous functions and safety-critical applications. The assignment includes software development in Python, C++ and Java, integration between hardware and software, testing, troubleshooting and coordination of technical activities. You may also lead and coordinate a technical team when required.

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• You have strong programming skills in Python and C++, as well as experience with Java.
• You have professional experience with embedded systems.
• You have experience with computer vision and image processing, including cameras, object or person detection and depth sensing.
• You have good understanding of coordinate systems, lidar, sensors, kinematics and motion control.
• You have experience with software development, test development and technical coordination.
• You have experience from safety-critical or regulated systems.
• You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in English and have professional proficiency in Swedish.

Meritorious

• Experience from autonomous vehicles, rail, aviation or other safety-critical environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams.
• Basic knowledge of Chinese.

You are able to work independently, take ownership and deliver agreed milestones. You collaborate well with engineers and project stakeholders and communicate clearly in technical environments.
