Electrical Engineer

Assignment description

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical and automation solutions for advanced industrial products.

In this role, you will work with electrical design, control systems, machine safety and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle. You will be part of an international engineering environment and collaborate closely with other technical disciplines to develop robust, standardized and compliant solutions.

Your responsibilities include designing electrical systems, automation control panels and electrical installations, as well as creating schematics, technical specifications, calculations and test documentation. You will also work with risk assessments, technical reviews, testing and troubleshooting, and contribute to the development of modular and standardized electrical designs.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• You have experience in electrical design for industrial machinery or automation systems.
• You have experience with EPLAN Electric P8 or equivalent electrical CAD tools.
• You have knowledge of EN 60204-1, EN ISO 13849, CE compliance and machine safety.
• You have practical understanding of electrical components, sensors, instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• You are fluent in English and have good communication skills.

Meritorious

• You have experience with EPLAN Pro Panel, Cogineer/eBuild or Autodesk Inventor.
• You have experience with Teamcenter or other PDM/PLM systems.
• You have knowledge of marine approvals, verification and technical documentation.
• You have experience in project coordination, Agile development or IoT solutions.
