Interim Cyber Defence Manager

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Defence Manager to provide operational leadership and ensure continuity within cyber defence and security operations.

You will lead and coordinate Security operations (SOC), drive incident management and threat follow-up, and support the team on operational security matters. The role also includes leading P1 and major incidents when required, coordinating with internal teams and service providers, and acting as a subject matter expert.

Key priorities are to improve MTTR, strengthen security monitoring and detection coverage, and ensure timely management of incidents, threats, vulnerabilities, risks and security improvements.

Required Skills

• You have experience leading and coordinating Security Operations (SOC).
• You have strong experience in incident management and threat follow-up.
• You can provide operational security support and guidance to technical teams.
• You have experience leading P1 and major security incidents, including outside normal office hours when required.
• You have experience following up security actions, risks and improvement initiatives.
• You can coordinate effectively with internal teams and external service providers and act as a subject matter expert.
• You have experience improving MTTR (Mean Time to Respond/Recover).
• You have experience increasing security monitoring and detection coverage.
• You can ensure timely follow-up of incidents, threats and vulnerabilities.
