Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Project Leader Quality/Senior Quality Engineer – SVA. Their team in Operations consists of around 20 experienced leaders with a variety of tasks. The overall mission is to optimize the use of the new platform SPA2 for Autonomous Drive, controlling the vehicle’s six degrees of freedom and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, by delivering world-class Pilot Assist, vehicle energy & motion control, and a remarkable Autonomous Driving customer experience. The objective in Operations is to continuously improve business operations and customer satisfaction.

They are responsible for driving initiatives across the solution and coordinating their technical solutions with external partners such as Polestar, Geely, Lotus, LEVC, and Zenseact. They take the lead in setting the strategic business plan/roadmap for their solution, driving the launch plan, and maintaining interfaces with Plants. They create clarity around how their products are perceived by customers, collect defects, and drive resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope and analyze upcoming quality concerns in the SVA Current Car CMQ team.
  • Handle and analyze returned field material using agile methodologies, primarily Scrum, for the global CMQ area for SVA.
  • Take personal responsibility for working on some of the most difficult and important tasks affecting customers.
  • Work closely with colleagues within the CMQ team and other streams, as well as with Markets, Factories, and Customer Service.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Solution Engineer and Customer Satisfaction Manager to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation.

Qualifications:

  • Well acquainted with both hardware (HW) and software (SW) from a development perspective, with a strong emphasis on SW.
  • Knowledge and support of agile ways of working, primarily Scrum.
  • Analytical with an internal drive to find root causes to issues, and able to extract and present the most important parts clearly.
  • At least a few years of work-life experience after a high school degree within some technical area.
  • Well-versed in quality methods and principles (e.g., fault tree analysis, Six Sigma/DMAIC/DCOV).
  • Experience in driving ERA (Emergency Containment Actions), ICA (Interim Containment Actions), and PCA (Permanent Corrective Actions) to secure Product and Process.
  • Understanding of product development and software.
  • Technical university background with interest and engagement in problem solving.
  • Experience working with quality resolution.
  • Good knowledge of different production methods.
  • High ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish.
