Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the rollout of a new invoice management system. This role demands exceptional project management skills, with a strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Collaboration with vendors, internal stakeholders, and the financial support function, as well as coordination with the product owner, will be key to ensuring a smooth implementation and transition. Additionally, you will work closely with adjacent projects that have various dependencies and may impact this project.


  • Project Management and Coordination: Lead and coordinate the entire rollout of the invoice management system, including planning, execution, and monitoring of all project activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all requirements and expectations are met.
  • Financial Support and Budget Management: Ensure the project stays within budgetary constraints and financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and manage risks, developing strategies to minimize them.
  • SAFe Methodology: Ensure the project plan and all activities adhere to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly update business leaders and the steering committee on project progress, deviations, and risks. A key part of this role involves communicating and informing about the project’s progress.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and coordinate with external vendors to ensure they deliver according to the contract and project plan.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Steering Committee Management: Keep the steering committee informed about the project’s status and provide necessary information for decision-making.
  • Collaboration with Adjacent Projects: Work closely with adjacent projects that have various dependencies and can impact this project, ensuring alignment and mitigating potential conflicts.
  • Starting from the Lund office, but travel may occur globally.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Work across different time zones.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant academic degree in finance, IT, project management, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of project management experience, preferably in invoice management or similar system implementations.
