Join our client’s team and strengthen their Critical Care Product Area in Sweden as a Test Strategy Engineer. They are initiating a new project to develop a new project, where your role will be pivotal in advancing their advanced mechatronic medical technology systems. You will play a significant part throughout the product development cycle, from concept to final product. An exceptional team awaits you.

As a Test Strategy Engineer, you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges, collaborating with highly skilled colleagues in Sweden, the USA, and India to find innovative solutions. You will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia.

It will be your primary responsibility to implement testing strategies and drive the testing team to automated testing, as well as ensure that the international teams are aligned.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

• Extensive experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on strategies, preferably within medical technology or a related field
• Comfortable making critical technical decisions and thriving in high-expectation environments
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Linux
• Proficiency in C++/Python/Squinch
• An interest in CI/CD
• Interest in advanced healthcare and products in intensive care and anesthesiology
• Automated testing strategy implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer
• Technical leadership skills in driving a testing team toward automated testing
• Expertise in risk analysis, addressing potential challenges, and maintaining high-quality standards
• Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, preferably in international teams
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Basic fluency in Swedish is also preferable
