Assignment Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to support the development of a high-performance transport system intended for cleanroom environments. This role involves contributing to the mechanical design and realization of a reliable, functionally robust solution in close coordination with an early-stage customer.

The assignment involves close collaboration with teams in electronics, software, production, and quality to ensure that the design meets performance targets while also being manufacturable and cost-efficient.

Your responsibilities will span the full design cycle—from concept generation and modeling to prototyping and verification. The position requires attention to detail, a structured approach, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Strong command of both Swedish and English in professional settings
• Hands-on experience in developing mechanical solutions and taking products through the full development cycle
• Skilled in using CAD tools, especially SolidWorks, for modeling and technical drawings
• Academic background in Mechanical Engineering at bachelor’s or master’s level, or equivalent technical education
• Good knowledge of production methods, including CNC machining and plastic molding techniques
• Comfortable working with engineering standards and producing clear technical documentation

It is considered an advantage if you have experience with FEM analysis and enjoy working independently with a solution-focused mindset. Being structured with a strong technical foundation, collaborating well in cross-functional teams, and showing curiosity toward learning new tools and methods are also qualities that will be valued in this role.
