Assignment Description
We are looking for an Acoustics Engineer with a structured and self-motivated approach to lead the development of acoustic test solutions for product integration. This role involves full responsibility for designing and improving test systems that evaluate the performance of microphones and speakers within assembled units. On-site presence is required, but a hybrid solution may be possible upon agreement.
Main Responsibilities
You will work closely with mechanical engineers to develop an acoustic test enclosure, with a focus on optimizing geometry and material selection to minimize internal sound reflections. A key aspect of the role is defining reliable test methods, including precise speaker and microphone positioning to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
The assignment also involves creating and executing test plans to assess the performance of the acoustic setup. Ensuring long-term reliability of future test environments is critical, and you will be expected to establish clear procedures that support consistency and repeatability across different systems.
Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and documenting calibration routines for both microphones and speakers, creating a solid foundation for continuous verification throughout the product lifecycle.
It is required that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered a plus.
