Assignment Description

We are looking for a Service Manager Infrastructure to oversee the delivery of IT infrastructure services through external suppliers. This role carries full lifecycle responsibility for the services in scope, ensuring they meet both business needs and user expectations in a cost-effective and compliant manner.

You will ensure the services provided align with business objectives, manage financial aspects, and oversee suppliers to ensure agreements are followed. Responsibilities also include maintaining a roadmap for service development, overseeing incident, problem, change and operations management, and tracking service performance against defined KPIs and SLAs. Business continuity planning, disaster recovery readiness, operational risk, and regulatory compliance are all essential components of this role. You will also integrate infrastructure services into agile delivery models and ensure alignment with wider development and delivery practices.

You lead by example—promoting simplicity, teamwork across functions and borders, and a strong focus on customer outcomes and data responsibility. Required Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of agile frameworks, cloud ecosystems, and digital platforms
• Background in regulated environments such as finance or similar industries
• Strong ability to lead teams and manage resource planning
• Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills across internal and external stakeholders
• Experience coordinating service delivery across diverse, global supplier landscapes
• Solid track record in IT operations and service governance
• Deep understanding of infrastructure components like servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (IaaS/PaaS)
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets and drive cost control
• Proficiency in vendor relations and performance oversight
• Academic degree in a relevant field such as IT, engineering, or economics
