Assignment description

We are looking for a backend and data engineer to join a cross-functional Digital Procurement team.

In this role, you will work hands-on in a modern tech stack (Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices) to build scalable backend solutions and integrations that support core procurement and payment processes. The role involves both system development and data engineering, with a focus on event-driven architecture and collaboration with data analysts.

You play a key role in enabling Source-to-Pay flows and driving operational data into our central data platform (AWS S3, DBT, Snowflake, Power BI).

Qualifications:

• You have 3+ years of backend and/or data engineering experience in Kotlin and/or Java
• You have solid skills in Spring Boot, REST APIs, event-driven systems, microservices
• You have experience with data modelling, ETL, and data platforms

Meriting:

• Knowledge of P2P processes or ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA)
• Experience from manufacturing industry
• Interest in business-facing configuration and system ownership
