Our customer is looking for a Test Manager that will assist their organization in creating a test strategy and driving the adoption of new test methodologies and automated tests. Your in-depth knowledge and experience in testing strategies, test automation frameworks, and change management will play a crucial role in optimizing their testing processes and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Our client is seeking for an experienced Test Manager to guide them through this transition, helping them design an effective test strategy and implementing the necessary changes to shift towards automated testing.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Test Strategy Development:
    Collaborate with internal teams to define and document a test strategy that aligns with business objectives. Identify key testing goals, processes, and metrics to ensure optimal test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Test Automation Framework:
    Evaluate current testing practices and identify areas where test automation can be implemented to improve efficiency, reliability and speed. Develop a scalable and maintainable test automation framework that caters to the customers specific needs. Consider various factors such as application architecture, technology stack, and test types (unit, integration, regression, etc.) to establish a framework that facilitates efficient test creation, execution and maintenance. Conduct an assessment of their IT landscape to determine the most suitable tools.
  • Test Strategy Implementation:
    Lead and support the implementation of the test strategy within the organization. Collaborate with other teams to define how the strategy is best implemented within their respective areas. Support with definition of automation test cases, creation of test scripts, and integration of automated tests into the software development lifecycle. Provide guidance on best practices for test automation, ensuring optimal coverage and minimal false positives/negatives. This also includes to establish an effective process for test data creation and maintenance supporting the strategy.
  • Change Management:
    Support management in driving the cultural and organizational changes necessary to promote the adoption of automated testing. Develop change management strategies, provide training and mentoring to the teams and communicate the benefits and value of test automation to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Establish mechanisms to track and report the effectiveness and efficiency of the test strategy and automation efforts. Define relevant metrics, develop dashboards, and regularly communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Years of experience: Level 3 (4-8years).
  • Proven experience as a Test Manager, preferably with a focus on test strategy and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, test management tools, and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and influencing stakeholders towards the adoption of automated testing.
  • Proficiency in assessing testing requirements, defining test strategies, and establishing relevant metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Speaks both Swedish and English.

 

Please note that the costumer has a policy of working 3 days onsite per week and 2 days remote.
