Assignment Description

We are looking for a backend developer to join an exciting project focused on developing the next generation of Condition Monitoring Solutions. The goal is to provide actionable insights based on machine data to help industrial machines run longer and more efficiently. You will contribute to the development of a web application that delivers an outstanding user experience and enables users to detect and address machinery issues quickly and confidently.

You will work in small, autonomous teams built on trust and collaboration. The role requires initiative, teamwork, and a strong drive to learn and grow. You will face a steep but rewarding learning curve while exploring complex industrial applications, gaining valuable experience in a supportive and innovative environment from day one.

Main Responsibilities

You will be part of a backend-oriented team responsible for building and maintaining the platform that supports the Condition Monitoring application. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters for application deployment, building release pipelines, integrating data management capabilities for large datasets and real-time information, and ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the application across cloud and on-premise environments. You will also conduct thorough testing, debugging, and documentation to support deployment and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with security best practices, data encryption, and authentication methods.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong drive and ability to work in autonomous, high-trust teams.
• Experience with containerization technologies (mainly Kubernetes).
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new domains and products.
• Solid experience with microservice architecture and AWS services.
• Fluent in English.
• Understanding of message queuing technologies (e.g., MQTT).
• Preference for collaboration and teamwork.
• Experience in backend development, preferably in industrial or other complex systems.

It is considered meritorious if you have experience in Golang and fluency in Swedish.
