Assignment Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design and build reliable backend services supporting in-store sales, order management, and related business workflows. You will work with C# (.NET 9 or later) and apply principles from Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Event Sourcing to create scalable, cloud-native systems. The role involves building RESTful APIs with clear contracts and versioning, applying Hypermedia (HATEOAS) and Event Publishing patterns to ensure flexibility and adaptability. System performance and observability will be supported through OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and distributed tracing. Close collaboration with frontend and integration teams is essential to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences.

In this role, you will develop and maintain backend business services and REST APIs, applying Domain-Driven Design to model complex business logic. You will implement event-sourced components to ensure traceable and auditable workflows and design scalable, cloud-native solutions that support multiple markets. Additionally, you will ensure clear API contracts, proper versioning, and overall high service quality while collaborating closely with other development teams to align domain models and interfaces.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in C# (.NET 9 or newer)
• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Event Sourcingprinciples
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable and resilient distributed solutions
• Experience working with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, including structured logging and distributed tracing
• Extensive hands-on experience using ASP.NET Core to develop robust and efficient backend services
• Background in cloud-native development with an emphasis on API-driven architectures
• Skilled in creating well-structured, maintainable code that reflects real business processes and logic

It is considered meriting if you have experience with event-driven or event-sourced systems in practice, or prior exposure to sales or transactional domains.
