Assignment description

We are looking for a Function Owner within functional safety for charging systems and power distribution. The role ensures that the charging system meets all functional safety requirements and that safety processes are followed within the team. You will work in an agile team responsible for charging systems in battery-electric vehicles.

Together with the Functional Safety Manager, you secure compliance with ISO 26262 and contribute to key safety artefacts such as HARA, Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• You have experience in functional safety work, including risk analysis, safety concepts, and safety verification (experience with ISO 26262 is highly meritorious)
• You have several years of experience in the automotive industry within system or function development
• You have experience related to electric vehicles
• You have project management and leadership capabilities
• You have proven experience with ISO 26262 processes, Safety Case development, and/or ASIL decomposition
• You have experience working with vehicle type approvals or regulatory safety requirements
• You take initiative and responsibility for your deliveries
• You have strong documentation and communication skills
• You have cross-functional collaboration skills
