Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager within Cybersecurity to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that strengthen global security capabilities across products, platforms and connected services. The role requires a structured and strategic leader who can drive security programs in an international engineering environment.

You will manage end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with strategy, regulations and technical direction. The work involves coordinating architecture and requirements across multiple teams, improving cybersecurity processes and securing compliance with relevant standards. You will also lead cross-functional collaboration, handle communication and escalations, and provide clear reporting on progress, risks and security maturity.

Qualifications:

• You are an experienced senior project manager with 7+ years leading large and complex technical initiatives, ideally within automotive, IT, cybersecurity or embedded systems.
• You are skilled at navigating global stakeholder landscapes and working across multi-brand environments.
• You are well-versed in cybersecurity principles across product, system and IT/OT domains, with experience in secure development lifecycles, risk management, threat modelling and certification processes.
• You are comfortable discussing and challenging cybersecurity architecture across hardware, software, cloud and connectivity layers, ensuring alignment and coherence across domains.
• You are experienced in setting up or improving security-related processes, frameworks and governance models, and familiarity with standards such as ISO 21434 and UNECE R155/R156 is a plus.

Meriting:

• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or safety-related development.
• Background in automotive, embedded systems or large-scale industrial systems.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or project management (CISSP, CISM, PMP, SAFe, etc.).

You are structured and proactive, with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills. You build relationships easily and feel comfortable leading in a matrix organisation without formal authority. You combine a business-minded approach with the ability to translate security needs into clear, actionable plans. You act with high integrity and handle sensitive security information responsibly.
