Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Test Lead.

In this role you will ensure the quality of large-scale, cloud-based data and rule-processing systems used to detect financial irregularities. The role involves leading testing strategies, validating data pipelines, and ensuring the accuracy of rule engines across a modern GCP environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, analytics and architecture teams to align QA practices with business and regulatory needs. This assignment also requires strong technical testing skills, including automation, exploratory testing and data validation.

Qualifications:

• You have 8–10+ years of experience testing data-driven systems or working in senior enterprise QA roles.
• You have strong skills in Python, Java and SQL for automated testing and data validation.
• You have hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Bigtable and Composer.
• You are familiar with ETL testing, data modelling and validating data lineage in complex environments.
• You understand rule-based engines such as decision tables or similar logic frameworks.
• You have strong system-thinking and can connect QA activities to business needs and compliance requirements.
• You are an excellent communicator with solid documentation skills and thrive in agile, collaborative teams.
• You have a B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant field and experience working with complex software systems.
• You hold relevant certifications, such as ISTQB (Foundation/Agile/Automation), Google Cloud certifications or REQB, or are willing to obtain them.
• It is highly meriting if you have experience from the banking or financial sector.
