Assignment Description

We are looking for a Knowledge Engineer who can be on site two to three days a week.

Required Background

Metaphactory Expertise:

You should be comfortable working with Metaphactory when building and maintaining knowledge graph solutions. This includes being able to tailor its features for particular operational needs, add new capabilities, and set up integrations.

Graph Databases and Triple Stores:

The position calls for practical experience with triplestore systems, ideally RDFox. You need to understand graph-driven data structures and how they support semantic applications.

Querying and Performance Tuning:

A solid command of Datalog is important, both for querying and for reasoning over rules. You must be able to refine queries so they run efficiently and return results quickly.

You also need an advanced grasp of SPARQL and should be able to design complex queries that access and manipulate RDF-based knowledge graphs. Ensuring the system scales well and performs reliably is a key part of the job.

Semantic Web and RDF Skills:

Strong familiarity with core semantic technologies is required, including RDF and related specifications. Experience working with RDFS, OWL, SHACL, and SKOS is needed for tasks such as ontology development, validation, and maintaining controlled vocabularies.

Documentation and Collaboration:

You will produce clear, thorough technical documentation for implemented knowledge graph solutions and any custom work carried out. Close cooperation with stakeholders is expected to make sure technical decisions stay aligned with broader business objectives.

Location: Malmö, with on-site presence two to three days per week.
