Assignment Description

We are looking for a QA Specialist who provides quality assurance support and guidance within a digital organization, primarily focused on development teams. The role operates as part of a central function and may include areas of expertise such as test architecture, performance testing, or test automation. Physical presence on site is required three days per week.

The assignment involves owning and implementing the overall QA and test strategy to support modern software development, including establishing technical enablers that help teams deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. The QA Specialist works closely with DevOps teams by coaching effective testing practices and supporting the integration of quality assurance into daily development work.

Collaboration is a key part of the role and includes working with a broad range of stakeholders to review ways of working, identify improvement areas, and drive quality-related initiatives. Regular interaction with product owners, architects, release coordination roles, and other stakeholders ensures that QA activities meet agreed standards. The assignment also covers defining and implementing test architecture, as well as establishing tools, frameworks, and ways of working for test automation, non-functional testing, and test data management. The role is performed in agile and DevSecOps contexts and requires an interest in developing test strategies for teams in these environments, along with the ability to collaborate, inspire others, and maintain a holistic perspective.

Required Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of common software development approaches, including Scrum, as well as hands-on experience with both BDD and TDD
• Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe, together with an understanding of DevOps practices
• Experience in designing and working with test automation frameworks
• Practical knowledge of API and integration testing, including REST and WebSockets, along with experience in mobile application testing for Android and iOS using tools such as Appium and Sauce Labs
• Proven experience in test data management
• Experience in non-functional testing areas such as performance, security, and maintainability
• Understanding of ITIL principles and IT operations practices
• Ability to lead, evolve, and drive test strategies across multiple teams or organizational units
• Experience in defining and applying test strategies for microservice-based architectures
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to stakeholders at different levels of the organization
• Ability to translate ideas into practical, actionable outcomes
• Capability to explain complex subjects in a clear and simplified manner
• Ability to support and develop others within relevant competence areas

Location Requirement: 3 days on-site per week in Malmö
