Assignment description
We are looking for Fullstack Developers with experience in Kotlin, React, and AWS.
As part of the team you will work with modern, cloud-native technologies and contribute to building fast, reliable, and scalable software. We value innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging both experimentation with new technologies and refinement of our existing architecture to keep our solutions and ways of working up to date.
In this role, you will share responsibility for developing and maintaining micro frontends together with supporting microservices that make up the overall application. The platform is fully cloud-based, running on Kubernetes in AWS, with React micro frontends and Kotlin-based microservices deployed through GitLab CI pipelines.
The team works primarily remotely, with a few days per week spent together at the office in Södertälje or Stockholm. We expect you to take ownership of your work and learning, while actively collaborating with the team by sharing knowledge, decisions, and ideas. Your mindset and ability to work well with others are just as important as your technical skills.
The Client generally work with the following technologies:
- Backend Development (Kotlin, Kafka)
- Frontend Development (React, CSS)
- AWS (Kubernetes)
- Testing (Storybook/Junit)
- End to End testing (Kotlin)
- Logging (Kibana & Elasticsearch)
- CI/CD (GitLab-CI)
Qualifications:
- You are a person who enjoys working in a team that takes full responsibility for developing and deploying our application, Digital Dealer, to production.
- You are comfortable with development practices such as test automatization, pair/mob programming and version control as well taking on a senior position within the team, teaching and guiding more junior developers.
- You have previous experience working with back-end development, but front-end and AWS development are also very relevant.
- Most importantly, you are passionate about technology and continuous learning.
