Assignment description

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen a team working with cable harness routing and installation for bus chassis within the Vehicle Cabling Architecture (VCA) area.

You will be part of a design team responsible for developing and implementing cable harness solutions in a complex vehicle environment, with a strong focus on installation feasibility, quality, and design reviews. The role involves designing and routing cable harnesses for bus chassis applications, supporting installation design, performing design and drawing reviews, and collaborating closely with adjacent engineering and production stakeholders in an agile, Scrum-based development environment.

Qualifications:

• You have strong experience in mechanical design of cable harness routing and installation.
• You have experience of CATIA V5.
• You have a engineering background within Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• You have the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based setup.
• You have professional working proficiency in English (Swedish is a plus).
