Assignment Description

We are seeking a structured and reliable Team Leader to temporarily lead the IWS Support Team during. The team works closely with factory operations and is responsible for ensuring stable support and reliable performance of production-critical IT systems. The role is performed fully on site.

In this role, you act as the main contact for the production value streams and coordinate the daily activities of the support team. The position involves ensuring that IT services used in production operate reliably, translating operators’ needs into clear technical requirements, and planning the IT and operational capacity needed for ongoing work and projects. The role also includes monitoring support statistics, KPIs, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, assisting the production unit with cost balancing and financial follow-ups, and acting as the contact person during incidents that affect production.

You will work closely with production, engineering, and IT leadership to improve processes and ways of working. The position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement and requires clear communication, the ability to build strong relationships with both users and IT colleagues, and the ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm during production disturbances. The role also includes contributing to local improvement initiatives and IT-related projects while independently driving continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with and using IT tools and systems
  • Knowledge of production processes, ideally within a manufacturing context
  • Prior involvement in leadership, team coordination, or stakeholder-related responsibilities
  • Professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English
  • Capability to convert business or user needs into defined technical requirements
  • Practical experience working with IT support, IT operations, or a comparable technical setting
  • Structured and analytical approach, including experience working with data and KPIs
  • Educational or professional background in IT, Business Analytics, or a related technical or business discipline
  • Experience providing support in environments where systems are critical for production
  • Well-developed coordination and communication abilities

Location requirement: On-site, 5 days/week in Oskarshamn

Language requirement: Professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English
