Assignment description

Our client in Stockholm is looking for an experienced Embedded Developer (5+ years of experience) with several years of knowledge of VxWorks, to help building and delivering their solutions to internal and external customers.

You will join the ITEM-team who develops energy solutions, such as energy optimization, frequency stability services, and control for EV charging etc. They are part of the digitalization transformation of energy assets and builds new solutions to the energy market.

One part of the energy solutions platform is the IoT Battery Control solution. IoT Battery control solution, is a platform with an embedded control system in OT Zone (HW / RTOS) connected via OT/DMZ (HW/GPOS) with cloud (Azure) services to facilitate, optimized energy services for the client and it’s customers and partners. They need to strengthen their embedded development organization, over the short and long term perspective.

The client is a distributed team (Sweden, Poland, Germany), so hence you need to be self-motivated, driven, collaborative, coaching and fluent in English. The client prefers that you also speak Swedish, but if they find the right candidate, they are open to an English-speaking consultant.They work with Agile methodologies and are “DevOps oriented”, where maintaining and operate current install base are part of working tasks.

Requirements:

• VxWorks RTOS system (develop environment & runtime)
• Embedded Linux, potentially Linux Real Time
• C/C++
• Git

• OO design principles and patterns, SOLID
• CMake
• Azure DevOps
• Google Test
• Build and integrate the system (HW & OS) x86, QNX,
• Modbus-TCP, OPC-UA, Modbus-Serial, MQTT
• Hypervisor competence
