Assignment description 

We are looking for an experienced Embedded C++ Software Engineer who will join our client’s team in Stockholm to work on their Px2 platform. The position is to cover for an employee on long-term leave (~2 years) and the team in question works mainly with their handheld battery tool with embedded controller (Controller on-board). The Px2 platform is a complex and large platform that they build up to 8 different products on. The products are tightening system controllers for tightening tools.

They work in agile teams of 7-10 persons with cross functional competences; Embedded C and C++ Developers, Frontend Developers and Test Engineers together. There are about 10-11 teams working on the platform and each team is led by a Team Coordinator/Scrum Master who both leads the team and coordinates with project managers and product projects.

The teams are working with code reviews and have an automated pipeline with automated tests. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and all are happy to help both with onboarding and ongoing work. Working in one of their teams means that you will work both on start to end with new features, and also take care of reported issues and bug fixes. The team takes responsibility of the feature and that it is implemented, tested and functional on the relevant products on the platform.

Required competences:

• C++ Embedded Development, C++ 14 and 17
• Experience in complex embedded systems
• Experience in working with agile teams
• Working proficiency in English is required (Swedish is not)
