Assignment Description

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer for an assignment involving the development of electronics across all phases of the product lifecycle, from early concepts to further development and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role includes tasks such as electronic design, PCB development, testing, troubleshooting, and support during the introduction of new products.

You will be part of a hardware-focused team and collaborate continuously with adjacent functions such as development, production, and product management. The assignment is connected to operations across multiple locations, where work may take place from different sites, and the role includes reporting to the responsible function within hardware development.

The work involves developing and refining electronic solutions, including schematic design, ECAD, and PCB layout. You will also be responsible for driving activities related to electronics and circuit boards within projects, as well as identifying, analyzing, and resolving deviations and maintenance-related issues within hardware. Additionally, the role includes evaluating components and technical solutions, participating in NPI activities such as initial builds, troubleshooting, and testing, as well as planning and executing verification and compliance testing.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Valid Category B driver’s license
• Experience working in Altium with strong proficiency in the tool
• Relevant engineering degree (MSc or BSc) in electrical engineering or a related field
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• A few years of hands-on experience in electronic design within embedded systems

It is considered an advantage if you have experience with tools such as Jira or Z2data. Experience in areas such as radio technology, chemical regulations, functional safety, the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is also beneficial. Fluency in Swedish is likewise considered an asset.
