Assignment Description

We are looking for a Back-end Azure Application Developer to take responsibility for designing and delivering a cloud-based solution built on Azure, with emphasis on robustness and scalability. The role involves refining and extending existing code to align with defined business requirements, while also contributing to architectural discussions, technical evaluations, and collaborative decision-making. The developer will work with Azure Functions and ensure proper integration with Cosmos DB, as well as create and maintain JSON-based API endpoints to support efficient data exchange. The position also includes implementing integrations with external systems using SOAP and XML protocols. Development will take place within an Agile setup, with a strong focus on teamwork and continuous delivery, leveraging GitHub for version control. Additionally, the role requires applying DevOps principles, including infrastructure as code, to support efficient and reliable deployment workflows. Proficiency in C# is required, along with a working understanding of Node.js due to ongoing migration activities.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of six to eight years of experience within the relevant field
• Capability to navigate, adjust, and reuse existing code in line with project requirements
• Good knowledge of communication standards based on SOAP and XML
• Extensive hands-on experience working with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and building JSON-based APIs
• Well-developed analytical thinking along with clear and effective communication skills
• Understanding of DevOps ways of working, including the use of infrastructure as code
• Experience working in Agile environments and using GitHub for collaboration and version control
• Proven experience in Azure application development

It is considered an advantage if you have experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, as well as familiarity with the European Union TRACES system and the EUDR program.

Location requirement: The role is based on a hybrid setup, with a preference for on-site presence in Malmö.

Language requirement: Fluent proficiency in either Swedish or English
