Assignment Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst for an assignment that can be carried out either in Malmö or from a nearshore location.

The role involves analysing and validating data to ensure accuracy and quality, as well as translating business needs into clear data definitions and requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand how data is used and what information is needed. The assignment also includes identifying and resolving data quality issues, including root cause analysis. You will support Data Engineers with data insights, clarifications, and requirements, contribute to solution design from a data perspective, and document data structures, mappings, and definitions in a clear and simple way. In addition, you will support testing and validation of data deliveries, write SQL queries, support data transformations, and make smaller adjustments in data pipelines when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong ability to work with SQL
• Experience of working in agile teams
• Good knowledge of data modelling and Data Warehousing
• Solid background in analysing data and working with large datasets
• Ability to convert business needs into practical data solutions
• Experience with modern data platforms, preferably AWS

It is considered meritorious if you have experience with AWS tools such as S3, Glue, Athena or Redshift, an understanding of data pipelines and data engineering practices, and experience from banking or financial services.

Language requirement: Fluency in either Swedish or English.

Location requirement: Hybrid setup with on-site presence in either Malmö or nearshore.
