Assignment description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in establishing and operating test environments within complex industrial and manufacturing ecosystems.
In this role, you will lead the setup and configuration of end-to-end test environments supporting integrations across MES, SCADA, and IoT layers. You will work closely with manufacturing systems and stakeholders to ensure stable, production-like environments that support continuous testing and reliable deliveries.
You will validate manufacturing flows, data consistency, and system integrations between MES, SCADA, and connected factory systems, including real-time communication and event handling. The role also includes testing and validation of MQTT-based communication with focus on reliability, latency, and data integrity.
As part of the assignment, you will take an operational role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving test environments, supporting ongoing releases and defect resolution. You will collaborate closely with development teams, factory stakeholders, and IT/OT functions to ensure stable and efficient integration flows.
The role also includes configuration and environment management, ensuring version alignment, environment stability, and availability across systems and interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in test environment setup within complex system landscapes
- Hands-on experience with:
- MES systems (preferably EBBA or equivalent)
- SCADA integrations
- MQTT or similar messaging protocols
- Experience in system integration testing (SIT), E2E testing, and environment configuration
- Ability to work in an operational, hands-on delivery role
