Assignment description

We are looking for a Test Manager for an assignment focused on end-to-end quality assurance of a product passport solution. The role involves ensuring that the solution meets both functional business requirements and EU regulatory compliance obligations under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and applicable sector-specific regulations.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.

The assignment includes collaborating with stakeholders to create, review and refine use cases, as well as creating and owning the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan for the implementation. This covers functional, integration, regression, performance and compliance testing.

You will also build structured and traceable test cases based on business requirements, use cases and regulatory mandates, while coordinating and overseeing test execution across all phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

The role further includes test reporting with impact classification, communication of test progress, quality metrics, risks and defect status to project management, as well as contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvements within test practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager or senior QA lead on complex, data-driven or compliance-driven implementation projects.
• Strong ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into structured, traceable test cases.
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders on use case creation and review.
• Solid understanding of test methodologies (functional, integration, SIT, UAT, and regression testing)
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks (ESPR, sector-specific DPP regulations) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with the ability to report clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
