Assignment description

We are looking for an Assignment Manager / Project Manager within bus development for an assignment focused on leading cross-functional work related to bus chassis and field quality.

In this role, you will work closely with field quality, procurement, design, production, suppliers and other stakeholders to drive assignments and coordinate activities across the organization. When needed, the role also includes supporting market actions together with the field quality department to support customers.

The assignment involves leading and developing project teams, facilitating root cause analysis together with the teams and ensuring that identified solutions are implemented effectively. You will be responsible for setting timelines, following up on progress and escalating issues when necessary to secure delivery.

You will also coordinate and secure the introduction of solutions developed by the teams and contribute to continuous improvement work related to tools, processes and ways of working, with focus on efficiency and shorter lead times.

Qualifications:

• You have a MSc or BSc degree with 4-6 years’ experience of product development including project management. It is meriting to also have project management education or certification.
• You have prior experience from working as a Project or Assignment Manager.
• You are fluent in English and preferably also speak Swedish (not a must).

You are structured, proactive and motivated, with a strong ability to collaborate and drive work forward together with others. At the same time, you are comfortable working independently, communicate clearly and confidently, and are not afraid to challenge or push for progress when needed.
