Assignment description

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with experience in mechanical design, electrical components and testing. In this role, you will work with both low- and high-voltage systems as well as cable management and sheet metal development in a collaborative environment together with hardware designers, software engineers and power electronics specialists.

The assignment includes design and development of sheet metal components with integrated electronic systems, planning and execution of tests according to project timelines, as well as development of prototypes and support during testing and validation activities.

You will also work closely with suppliers and external partners to ensure technical quality and collaborate with software and power electronics engineers to deliver integrated system solutions.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in product development and a broad technical perspective gained from working across different R&D domains.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where innovation and collaboration are key.
• You hold a relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
• You have a structured and proactive approach to planning and execution
• You bring hands-on experience with testing, prototyping, and validation
• You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• You enjoy contributing to strategic discussions and long-term product development
• You have eave experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, production, and sales & marketing
• You have worked in early-stage or entrepreneurial settings, preferably within charging infrastructure
