Assignment description

We are looking for a senior AI Transformation Lead / Program Manager to support a global AI-enabled operating model transformation initiative. The role combines strategic governance responsibilities with hands-on transformation leadership and focuses on driving AI adoption and operational excellence across business functions.

The assignment includes two main tracks: governance, PMO and value realization, as well as end-to-end AI transformation delivery within business domains, initially focused on sourcing and procurement.

In the governance and PMO track, you will own and develop governance structures, decision forums, stakeholder reporting and value tracking processes for AI initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business divisions and IT functions to ensure alignment, transparency and measurable business impact. The role also includes developing and refining frameworks, methodologies and operational processes related to value realization, prioritization and AI programme governance.

In parallel, you will lead AI transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation and adoption. This includes driving project plans, defining business cases and benchmarks, identifying and prioritizing AI use cases, developing transformation roadmaps and ensuring value realization against defined business ambitions.

The role requires close collaboration with business leaders, IT, architects and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, sustainable and business-driven AI solutions. You will operate in a complex international environment where success depends on strong leadership, stakeholder management, structured execution and the ability to turn AI strategy into measurable outcomes.

Experience Requirements:

• You have 8-10+ years in management consulting, programme management, or transformation leadership
• You have led large-scale digital or AI transformation programmes in complex, matrixed organizations
• PMO / Governance: Proven track record at senior level: governance design, reporting, stakeholder management
• You are comfortable operating with C-suite and Group Management audiences
• You have a genuine understanding of AI/ML technologies in a business operations context – breadth over depth

Preferred requirements:

• Sector: Manufacturing, consumer durables, or industrial goods
• Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain AI transformation
• Experience building or improving value realization or benefits tracking frameworks
• Transformation leadership at equivalent level

You are structured and disciplined, with the ability to create clarity and momentum in complex environments. You are outcome-oriented, pragmatic and comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining focus on business value and delivery.

You communicate clearly and confidently in English and are skilled at building trust and collaboration across teams and stakeholders. You are also adaptive, curious and naturally create alignment across functions and organizational silos.
