Assignment Description

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer focused on projects and investigations. The assignment includes developing efficient material flows and logistics layouts in line with the plant’s objectives and lean principles. You will design logistics processes, optimize procedures, reduce waste, support problem solving and contribute to lower logistics costs. The role also involves implementing future material handling flows, initiating feasibility studies, supporting alignment with other plants, and providing logistics-related project input regarding areas such as costs, staffing, layouts and material flows.

The assignment requires strong communication skills and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and international colleagues. You are analytical, solution-oriented and interested in manufacturing and logistics development, with the ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate across teams. A fact-based approach, adaptability in a fast-paced environment and an interest in automation are important for the role.

Required Qualifications:

• Swedish and English language proficiency.
• Work experience involving relevant IS/IT tools.
• Solid understanding of lean principles, structured problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Background in logistics-related work, particularly within material supply and material handling.
• Ability to take an overall view while making clear priorities.
• Practical experience of, and interest in, automation connected to logistics flows.
• Documented project management experience, including familiarity with project governance, structure and budget work.

It is considered meritorious if you have a college or university education in production engineering or logistics engineering.
