Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced senior android developer.

A central part of the assignment is to deliver clean, high-quality, and maintainable code while contributing to improvements in processes, tooling, and architecture. The work also includes troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and helping define and implement features together with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong technical skills combined with a practical and proactive way of working, especially in situations where all details are not fully defined from the start.

The work is carried out in a broader collaborative setup, where priorities, different perspectives, and input from several parties need to be handled as part of the development process. The environment also includes agile ways of working and interaction across an international context.

The technical focus is on Android application development using Kotlin and Java, work with core Android components such as Activities, Services, Content Providers, Broadcast Receivers, and Intents, and the design and implementation of native platform software for AOSP-based infotainment systems.

The products are already available on the market and continue to expand, which makes configurability, structured updates, and maintainability important throughout the assignment. The solutions are within the automotive domain and require continued development, maintenance, and evolution over time.
