Assignment description 

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in warranties to join our client’s Digital Aftermarket team. The role involves gathering essential information for project execution, promoting teamwork and alignment, and serving as a bridge between stakeholders to ensure their perspectives match the Product Manager’s vision. Additionally, the Business Analyst contributes market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to guide the team’s work, fostering alignment, particularly across different expertise areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supporting Digital Team Strategy: Help the team execute the Digital Team’s strategy by providing data-driven analysis of the business and digital landscape related to the specific digital product, service, or platform, and gather information from various sources
  • Promoting an MVP mindset: Encourage the team to adopt a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mindset by assisting them in defining the minimum value and user-testable aspects of their work
  • Assisting in business requirements: Support the creation of business requirements and user stories, this includes helping the team clarify acceptance criteria
  • Creating and maintaining BA artifacts: Develop and maintain Business Analyst artifacts, ensuring they are of high quality to enhance the overall quality of the digital product, service, or platform

Competence requirements:

  • Automotive earranty experience
  • Deep technical and process knowledge: Possess in-depth technical and process-level understanding of user needs and pain points, often gained through expertise, customer support, process, or technical roles
  • Comfortable with processes/technology/IT: Be comfortable with processes, technology, and IT to understand and assist in problem-solving with technical teams, addressing their concerns
  • Understanding of MVP mindset: Have a solid grasp of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept and the value of short-term planning
  • Experience with writing user stories: Proficient in crafting user stories and breaking down work to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent facilitation fkills: Skilled in facilitating activities that lead to expected outcomes, effectively guiding team members
  • Strong communication skills: Capable of communicating complex messages, trade-offs, and telling compelling stories
  • Leadership and influencing skills: Able to confidently explain complex processes or technical details to diverse groups of people
