Assignment description
We are looking for a Project Manager / Assignment Leader to drive the localization of parts for a new production hub in China.
The role is part of a team of Assignment Leaders and focuses on ensuring that localized parts are introduced into production according to agreed timelines and cost targets.
You will work in close cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Production, Logistics, R&D and Purchasing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate localization activities for parts within the assigned technical area.
- Ensure localized parts are introduced into production on time and in line with cost targets.
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional activities and stakeholders throughout the localization process.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing to secure successful delivery.
- Monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies related to assigned localization activities.
- Contribute to reducing lead times and ensuring efficient project execution.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- BSc or MSc in Engineering
- Several years of experience within R&D.
- Good understanding of the product development process.
- Good product knowledge.
- Experience in project management or assignment leadership
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice To Have:
- Experience from design-, procurement-, production-, logistic- or testdepartment
- Knowledge of the Red Arrow process.
- Swedish, written and spoken.
