Assignment Description

We are looking for a Legal Counsel with focus on regulatory matters within trade and ESG.

The role involves monitoring and communicating regulatory developments in a rapidly changing landscape, as well as supporting the organization with legal advice on measures needed to ensure continued compliance.

The responsibility covers all countries and regions where the organization operates.

Main Responsibilities:

• Trade compliance: legal support to the customs & trade teams (inc. process enhancements)

Regulatory ESG:

• Monitor and assess regulatory developments
• Legal support with implementation of 3PDD governance model, incl. CSDDD
• Legal support with implementation of EUDR, EUBR
• Manage national modern slavery reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–6 years relevant work experience from both trade compliance and ESG areas.
• Experience from trade compliance matters, preferably also from operational tasks and e.g. related risk assessments
• Experience from regulatory supply chain due diligence management
• Experience from working in cross-functional environments
• Good communication skills
