Assignment description
We are looking for an experienced Business and System Analyst to support BI and reporting across a D365 transformation programme.
In this role, you will own the BI demand perspective across work streams such as Sales, Service, Order to Delivery, and Finance & Procurement. You will establish the structure and ways of working needed to move from business needs to a clear, prioritized and solution-oriented BI backlog.
You will act as the main BI and reporting contact for the D365 work streams, working closely with business stakeholders, stream leads, architecture and IT. A key part of the assignment is to proactively identify and structure BI needs, especially in areas where BI maturity is still developing, and help stakeholders determine the most appropriate solution direction.
The role covers traditional reporting, self-service BI and conversational analytics within the D365 landscape. The focus is on demand intake, requirements shaping, prioritization, initial solution direction and backlog ownership, rather than detailed technical design or hands-on implementation.
You will facilitate workshops and structured discussions, translate business needs into clear BI requirements and maintain the consolidated D365 BI backlog. You will also assess where BI needs should be addressed across D365, Microsoft analytics or other relevant solutions, and collaborate with Domain Leads, Product Owners, architects and central IT experts to validate solution direction and dependencies.
The assignment also includes preparing prioritized requirements for handover to detailed design and implementation, as well as establishing the documentation, structure and ways of working needed for transition into the permanent Domain Lead organization.
