Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with backend experience for an assignment within data engineering, analytics and reporting.

In this role, you will support backend-related work, including code reviews and, when needed, hands-on backend development. You will also take over and manage ongoing data engineering and analytics work across a modern data stack including AWS S3, Snowflake, dbt and Power BI.

You will help provide continuity in the team and take on additional responsibility when other team members are unavailable. The role also includes maintaining relatively straightforward Power BI reports, where you should be able to explain how figures are derived and identify discrepancies between reports or data sources.

You will collaborate closely with business architects and stakeholders to keep data models aligned with business processes and needs.

Qualifications:

• You are pragmatic and communicative, with the ability to work independently and engage clearly with stakeholders.
• You have solid working knowledge of backend development, SQL and Power BI.
• You have experience with AWS S3, Snowflake, dbt and Power BI, or similar tools.
• You do not need to be a highly senior developer or advanced data/BI specialist, but you should be confident working hands-on with data, backend-related tasks and reporting needs.
