Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with Python experience to join a verification team within R&D.

As product portfolios become increasingly complex, with more electronic and software-based products, the demand for connectivity, seamless integration and user-friendly system solutions continues to grow. Shorter time to market for new functionality also places high demands on the ability to deliver robust, modular and long-lasting platforms that can support rapid customer adaptations.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of system solutions. You will verify that solutions meet requirements related to performance, stability, stress, reliability, robustness and specifications.

Your work will include developing test plans for system releases, designing test cases based on customer requirements and feedback, configuring and improving test environments to support increased automation, and conducting both manual and automated testing. You will also create new automated test cases and document and report test progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• You have experience working in automated test environments.
• You have strong knowledge of Python.
• You have experience with embedded systems.
• You have a background and education in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• You have a strong technical understanding of complex product portfolios.
• You have experience working with system test cases, either manual, automated or both.
• You have knowledge of embedded systems, open systems, Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Selenium, Jira, JAMA and ISTQB.

You communicate well in English, both spoken and written, and are comfortable understanding and sharing information in an international environment. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.

You have strong communication skills and work well both within the team and with external stakeholders. You take a fact-based approach, with a clear focus on quality in everything you and the team deliver.
