Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of hardware and network platform services and capabilities. Acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure that development aligns with business objectives, operational requirements, and strategic direction.

You will own and prioritize the backlog based on business value and strategic needs, translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories, and serve as the main contact between stakeholders and engineering teams. The role includes leading and supporting PI Planning within SAFe and coordinating work across Agile Release Trains, delivery teams, and external vendors.

You will oversee the complete product lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement. This involves driving platform development and delivery, coordinating releases and dependencies, and ensuring quality through testing, validation, verification, and user acceptance activities. You will also proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and impediments, communicate roadmap priorities and delivery status, and help improve product management practices, agile ways of working, and delivery processes.

The role is suited to a senior Product Owner or Platform Product Manager and includes technical platform governance in a global delivery environment. The focus is on maintaining a clear, prioritized backlog, meeting PI objectives, and delivering planned releases and reliable, high-quality platform services on schedule while ensuring stakeholder engagement and transparency.

Required Qualifications:

• Practical, hands-on experience with Jira for backlog administration, work planning, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Experience managing complex groups of stakeholders across both business and technical parts of an organization.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation.
• Demonstrated experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role within an environment focused on infrastructure, networking, platforms, or hardware.
• Experience coordinating quality assurance, testing, and user acceptance processes.
• Experience managing hardware lifecycles and release management processes.
• Ability to perform effectively in a global setting involving multiple functions.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies, covering backlog management, PI Planning, and coordination across Agile Release Trains.
• Solid understanding of network platforms and infrastructure used in enterprise environments.

It is considered advantageous if you have experience coordinating distributed teams and external vendors. Experience working with global engineering, infrastructure, or operational technology teams is also considered advantageous. An understanding of cybersecurity, industrial networks, or critical infrastructure environments is considered a benefit, as is a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.
