Assignment Description

We are looking for an Integration Software Engineer to develop, test and maintain integrations between a SaaS-based loyalty and promotions platform and systems such as point-of-sale solutions, e-commerce platforms, ERP systems and registration portals.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Developers and System Architects to align integrations with the product strategy and customer engagement objectives. Your responsibilities include implementing tools and processes for monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring reliability and embedding quality assurance throughout development to meet customer requirements and expectations.

The role also involves building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for testing, deployment and continuous delivery. You will work with large data sets by importing loyalty data for new market launches and exporting data for operational reporting and business intelligence. You will also maintain technical documentation covering APIs, integration specifications, development guidelines, system architecture diagrams, error handling, security compliance, CI/CD processes and release notes.

You need strong problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively while contributing to a positive and enjoyable team culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years working with software development, of which at least three years must involve integrations and microservices, as well as experience from large enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET, combined with familiarity with established software design principles and proven experience building REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven integrations based on the publish-subscribe pattern in Microsoft Azure using ASP.NET.
  • Experience working with complex DevOps pipelines covering automated quality assurance and deployment, together with demonstrated experience handling large data sets, including ETL.

It is considered meritorious if you have experience within Loyalty and Rewards or the retail sector.
