Assignment description

Product configuration is an important area for our client where many of their products are customized for a specific customer need. The company has developed a product configurator providing integrated configuration capabilities to various tools, including eCommerce and ERPs. During the coming quarters the configurator platform will evolve in multiple ways to broaden and deepen the configuration toolbox, including new functional features as well as technical leaps. Part of this is introducing a new instance of the solution, running in Azure cloud (as opposed to the existing on-prem instance).

We’re now looking for an experienced Azure Cloud/DevOps engineer with experiences in both designing an Azure cloud solution setup, as well as hands-on experience in configuring components (incl. infrastructure as code) and developing CI/CD pipelines.

Primary work tasks:

• Lead and guide the current development team (Developers and DevOps Engineers) in the work of setting up infrastructure, components and CI/CD pipelines in Azure cloud for the new solution instance
• Conduct hands on setup/development of infrastructure, components and pipelines
• Knowledge sharing in the team to ensure the solution can be maintained and supported over time

Required skills:

• 5 or more years’ experience architecting, designing, deploying, managing, and supporting Azure solutions and services at a large enterprise
• Proven hands-on experience in design and setup for below cloud domains: Cloud Computing Core: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability, incl. specifics such as SQL Managed Instance, app services, WAF, Front Door, Azure AD
• Infrastructure as code, using Bicep
• CI/CD pipeline development, using scripting language like PowerShell or Python
