Assignment description
Customer to us are at the forefront of their automotive design. Their 94130 EDS division plays a pivotal role in crafting industry-leading wiring solutions, encompassing low, mid, and high voltage harnesses. You will take charge of wire harness designs right from the conceptual phase through to the finalized product, ensuring all specifications are met for build-to-print.
Responsibilities:
- Work in synergy with various teams including suppliers, manufacturing engineers, mechanical integration specialists, electrical design teams, attributes, and other internal departmental teams
- Spearhead change management initiatives, ensuring all designs are up-to-date and compliant with the latest requirements and industry standards
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless design development and integration
Required experience:
- Prior experience in harness design, preferably within the automotive sector
- Strong knowledge of and experience with design tools like Catia V5
- Familiarity with Teamcenter for design and project management
- An educational background or work experience in the electrical domain is highly beneficial
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with low, mid, and high voltage harnesses
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Sound understanding of the automotive manufacturing process
