Assignment description

As a Software Owner, your primary responsibility is to oversee software requirements and specifications. Your role involves ensuring that all Stakeholder demands are met and coordinating the implementation plan with various teams and owners. While you won’t be directly involved in coding, you need a strong understanding of software development processes, particularly in the automotive domain.

Key responsibilities:

• Make sure that the needs of all stakeholders are addressed
• Align implementation plans with function, subsystem owners, and ECU Owner
• Act as the interface with development suppliers and ensure the implementation plan is followed
• Work with internal Software Developers to ensure timely and expected delivery
• Follow up on issue management and ensure the resolution of Software Integration Management (SWIM) items

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years in automotive ECU software development experience
• Good understanding of problem-solving and troubleshooting for complex systems
• Experience with CANOE, System Weaver, TeamCenter, and JIRA
• You have a background in Passive Safety or other software within systems with high safety requirements
• Understanding of mechanical/electronic systems is highly valued

Additional requirements:

• Occasional travel within the EU and to China is expected
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Spanish or Mandarin is a merit

Qualifications and skills:

• Master of Science in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
• Proficiency in System Weaver, CANOE, JIRA, CarCom, TeamCenter, and Confluence
