Assignment description

We are looking for a passionate Android developer who is comfortable exploring new and unknown areas as well as taking leadership and ownership for the deliveries. As an Android Developer, you will be part of our customer’s two sub-teams; one which is developing in-house capabilities for voice-enabled natural language applications and another one which is adding digital key features to vehicles. You will utilise the latest knowledge in these fields and related technology. Our client welcome applicants with a mixed background both from inside and outside the traditional automotive industry.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the android development on these two projects, one smartphone- and one in-car application (Android Automotive), as part of the prototyping team at Enabling & Exploration Lab at the company

To fit the profile:

• You should be experienced in Android Development using the Kotlin programming language
• It’s a bonus if you are familiar with Android Automotive development, Large Language Models and NLP (Natural Language Processing)
• You should have a human-centric mindset and be familiar with fast prototyping and feedback loops
• As a person, you should be self-driven and work proactively
• A passion to find creative and innovative solutions on your own, as part of a team, and while collaborating with experts of different backgrounds
• Easy going and open-minded team player with strong organisational skills that allows you to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and expectations
